A Universe of Stories at Your Library!

Buzz Aldrin's Moon Walk Apollo 11Celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 moon landing, A Universe of Stories, was selected as the 2019 Summer Reading Program theme.  The Mad Science program Destination:  Moon Walk will start us out on Thursday, June 6th.  We follow this with Kate Thomas who brings animals from her family’s homesteading adventure ranch on June 13th and end on June 20th with a Chisholm Trail Heritage Center program on an early Oklahoma daredevil. Pearl Carter Scott became the youngest pilot in the United States on September 12, 1929, when she took her first solo flight at the age of 13.
