Save Thursday, June 20th, 2PM for the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center’s Edie Smith Stewart’s portrayal of PEARL CARTER SCOTT @ the Community Center. Oklahoma has been home to some of the most courageous people on earth and Pearl was definitely one of them. In 1929, at the age of 13, she took her first solo flight and her accomplishments did not end there!
Amazing Alpacas and More from Kate Thomas.
Save Thursday, June 13th, 2PM for Kate Thomas and some of the animals she and her family raise on the homestead. The animals are bigger than we usually see so the program will be back of the Community Center but she will have tents to help with shade. There will be snacks inside the community center after the program.
Mad Scientist + Eager Students = A Great Time!
The Mad Scientist from Mad Science was fantastic! The younger Mad Scientists in the audience enjoyed learning about gravity and the vacuum of space. Many thanks to the Dollar General Literacy Foundation for awarding us a grant to provide this program.
